Zoya Nevinskaya, Vocals
Zoya Nevinskaya is a junior in high school. She was born in Moscow, Russia, and moved to the USA when she was 2. She is fully bilingual in Russian and English.
Zoya has been playing piano since she was 4 years old, and singing since she was 7. She has been part of Dr. Alena Holmes’ Music Creativity Lab when she was younger. She currently attends voice lessons at the Rachel Edie Warrick studio. She has also been singing with her school choir since freshman year and is the music director for one of the extra-curricular Acapella groups. She is a member of the Madison Opera High School Apprenticeship program.
Outside of music, Zoya has been acting in theatrical productions since she was little and hopes to study acting in the future. In her free time, Zoya volunteers at a parrot rescue, draws, reads Russian classics (currently on War and Peace), cross-stitches, and watches movies with her mom.
